Nestled in the heart of the bustling city, along the historic axis between Rothschild and Allenby, stands the Ben Nahum Hotel –
a landmark resonating with history and culture. Also known as the Ginossar Hotel, it stands as an emblem of the golden era of early Tel Aviv architecture, at a time when the city was still taking shape.
Architect Yehuda Magidovitch, who designed the structure, had a significant influence on modern architecture in Tel Aviv. The masterpiece he crafted brilliantly melds Middle Eastern architectural motifs with Western classical elements. The result is an exemplar of architectural eclecticism, reflecting the local cultural fusion.
Today, after years of natural wear and tear, a significant preservation project has been undertaken to restore the hotel to its former glory. As part of this endeavor, Fresko Paints was instrumental in the building’s restoration. The company provided advanced plaster, paint, and preservation systems. With the use of Seluxen, the building has been rejuvenated with a fresh yet authentic look, reminiscent of the early days of the White City.
The ongoing restoration efforts aim to preserve the structure’s classic and unique character, maintaining all its historical elements, reinstating its rightful place in the cultural and historical tapestry of Tel Aviv.
